🗓️ Week 8: Juggling Jolly, Journals, and Jitters!

Hello everyone and welcome back to the Week 8 check-in!

If last week felt busy, this week has been an absolute whirlwind! It’s that time of year where the calendar seems to swell with commitments, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Between getting organised for the holidays, hitting the books, keeping up with my fitness goals, and diving into some very interesting new territory, I feel like I'm running on a delightful mix of coffee and pure adrenaline.

🎁 Operation Christmas Present is a GO!

The Christmas countdown is officially on, and I've been deep in the trenches of present organisation. It feels so good to get a handle on the gift list early! There is nothing worse than that last-minute panic dash.

I’ve been making lists, checking them twice, and navigating the online shopping maze like a pro. Getting this organised now means I can truly relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere in a few weeks not stress over shipping deadlines. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Let me know your best gift-finding tips in the comments!

🧠 Study, Shifts, and Self-Care

Balancing my nursing shifts with my study schedule has been the ongoing challenge, but I’m finding my rhythm. I feel like I’ve hit my stride with time management this week, which is crucial because I have some major assignments looming.

> Weekly Goal Check: I managed to finish the required readings for the next two modules and prepare for this weekend's podcast recording session. It’s all about those small, consistent wins!

❤️ A New Chapter: Dating Life Update

Now for the really exciting news! I’ve officially started a new chapter in my dating life this week. It’s been a really refreshing, fun, and honestly, a little nerve-wracking experience.

For a while, I was focused squarely on work and study, but it feels good to put myself out there again. It’s a great reminder that life isn't just about the grind; it's about making connections and exploring new possibilities. Wish me luck as I navigate this new adventure!

💪 Keeping the Body Busy

Through all the study and excitement, I am still prioritising movement. The gym has been my sanctuary! There is something so satisfying about finishing a tough workout it grounds me and gives me the energy needed for a 12-hour shift or a marathon study session.

This week’s exercise focus has been a mix of strength training and long walks in the sunshine. My mantra? "If it moves your body and clears your mind, it counts!"

✨ The Grand Weekend Reset Plan

Speaking of my schedule, I have a big few days ahead! My weekend is a carefully calibrated balance between work and life.

* Nursing Shifts: A couple of essential shifts to care for my patients.

* Podcast Recordings: Batch recording new episodes to stay ahead of our release schedule.

* The Big Clean: On my days off, I have plans for a massive house cleaning and full weekend reset. I'm talking deep clean, laundry mountain conquest, and organising every surface. A tidy space equals a tidy mind, right?

I need to go into the next week feeling fully in control of my environment.

It’s going to be busy, but I am excited for the feeling of productivity and preparedness that will come with it.

What does your weekend reset look like? Are you tackling any big projects, or are you planning for some well-deserved rest?

Catch you all next week for the Week 9 update!
